New York Inspired Kitchen Design
Richmond University Kitchen Design
This kitchen design is a 2017 CotY Award Winner!
This New York City inspired kitchen displays the juxtaposition between the industrial urban-ism and the post-war elegance of the city that never sleeps.
The original kitchen was extremely traditional with cherry cabinets and black toile wallpaper. Our goal for the new kitchen design was to add some contemporary edginess and textural drama with mixed metals and media, a touch of feminine softness for balance, and to brighten the kitchen from it’s previous dark wood, all while keeping a touch of the home’s traditional style. A little reconfiguring and a lot of added artistic flair makes this kitchen a one-of-a-kind conversation piece. Even the sink faucet is reminiscent of the construction cranes used to build skyscrapers! From its custom stainless steel and copper mural splash, to its iridescent pearl ceiling, industrial pendant lights, to it’s dimensional Capiz shell buffet accents, everywhere you look in this kitchen, it has something to thrill your senses.
