This West End bathroom in Richmond, VA was inspired by the warm, earthiness of mid-Century design. Originally a first floor Au Pair suite’s bathroom, these homeowners are thinking ahead to when they will retire to the main floor to remain in their beloved home. We updated this bathroom with Living In Place in mind. Heated floors, grab bars, and a bidet seat are just the starters to make this room ergonomically pleasing for aging empty-nesters.
